NEDA Regional Office (NRO) MIMAROPA was conferred the Bronze Award for upholding excellence in its human resource management programs and successfully meeting the standards on the implementation of the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) during the virtual awarding ceremony on September 22.
NRO MIMAROPA Regional Director (RD) Agustin C. Mendoza, together with HRMPs and other NRO personnel accepted the award from CSC Regional Office IV headed by RD Karin Litz P. Zerna. NRO MIMAROPA achieved Maturity Level II in all four core systems of human resource areas: Recruitment, Selection and Placement, Learning and Development, Performance Management, and Rewards and Recognition.
The awarding ceremony is one of the activities lined-up in line with the celebration of the 121st Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA). This year, NRO MIMAROPA is the lone recipient of the said award in Oriental Mindoro. The province has already five PRIME HRM Bronze awardees – two from the regional line agencies, NEDA and Department of Labor and Employment MIMAROPA and three from the local government units, provincial government of Oriental Mindoro, Calapan City, and Pinamalayan.
In accepting the award, RD Mendoza recognized the initiatives of previous RD Susan A. Sumbeling for the work ethics and teamwork that led to this bronze award.
