Location,Geography and Climate

Marinduque is about 137 nautical miles from Manila. It is bounded by Tayabas Bay at the north, Sibuyan at the south, Mongpong Pass at the northeast and Tayabas Strait at the southeast.

Marinduque is categorized with a Type IV climate, which means that rainfall is more or less evenly distributed throughout the year and there is no clear boundary between dry and wet seasons.
