RDC MIMAROPA participates in the 8th PSRs National Convention

The RDC MIMAROPA contingents during the 8th National Convention held on June 21-23 in Panglao Island, Bohol

Seven (7) out of twelve (12) private sector representatives (PSRs) of the MIMAROPA Regional Development Council (RDC) participated in the 8th National Convention held on June 21-23 in Panglao Island, Bohol. With the theme “Beyond 2020: Defining the Ambisyon Natin 2040 Vision”, the convention served as venue for generating awareness and support for Ambisyon Natin 2040 and the Philippine Development Plan (PDP) 2017-2022.

A total of 147 delegates from 15 regions actively participated in the audience interaction after sessions. Important  points and other questions were also posted in the big bright ideas wall. The PSRs posted ideas specifically on what the regions can do in cooperation with other regions in bringing about the changes envisioned in the PDP 2017-2022.

PSR Rodne R. Galicha, one of the delegates from RDC MIMAROPA, presented topic on ecological security and inequality reduction entitled “Maintaining Ecological INtegrity as SIgnificant  Key to Attain Ambisyon Natin 2040: The MIMAROPA Experience.”
