RDC MIMAROPA passes resolution to address environmental concerns in Coron, El Nido and Puerto Galera

To address environmental concerns in Coron, El Nido and Puerto Galera, the Regional Development Council in Mimaropa (RDC IV-B) passed Resolution No. 2018-062-693 or ‘Urging Concerned National Government Agencies and Local Government Units to Strictly Implement Environmental Laws in Tourism Development Areas in the Region’. MIMAROPA RDC endorses PPAs of RLAs and SUCs for 2019

The MIMAROPA Regional Development Council (RDC IV-B) endorsed the fiscal year (FY) 2019 proposed priority programs, projects and activities (PPAs) of 31 MIMAROPA agency regional offices and six state universities and colleges (SUCs) amounting to ₱123.04 billion for inclusion in the FY 2019 budget. The Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA) recognized the country’s modern day heroes in the 2017 Search for Outstanding Volunteers (SOV) awarding ceremony on December 15, 2017 at the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria, Ortigas Center in Quezon City. Calapan City recognized as one of the most competitive cities in the country

The ranking of Calapan City in the Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) of the National Competitiveness Council of the Philippines rose significantly for the years 2016-2017.
