NEDA MIMAROPA official, staff receive 2020 RAISE awards

OIC-Regional Director (RD) Susan A. Sumbeling and five personnel  from NEDA Regional Office in MIMAROPA received awards under the 2020 NEDA Recognition, Awards and Incentives System for Excellence (RAISE) on November 27 through  Zoom.

NEDA Acting Secretary Karl Kendrick T. Chua and Undersecretary Jose Miguel R. De La Rosa of the Corporate Affairs Group and Chairperson of the NEDA-RAISE led the awarding ceremony.

RD  Sumbeling received the NEDA Advocacy Award. Other awards received  include the Perfect Attendance Awards 2019 given to Angelus G. Genterola  and Ryan O. Manrique. The Most Punctual Award for 2019 were given to Ms. Genterola and Ms. Beltisezara A. Garcia for 2018 and 2019. Meanwhile, Ms. Kimberly Ann T. Pilongo was given the Sariling Sikap sa Pag-aaral Award, while Mr. Nepo Jerome G. Benter as  one of the Community Service awardees.

The NEDA Advocacy Award is conferred to those who represent NEDA with excellence during inter-agency meetings, consultations, national/international conferences, and other events.

The Community Service Award, meanwhile, is given to an individual or unit who supported an established group through financial assistance or provision of goods or services, which contributed to improved living or economic conditions of beneficiaries.

The Sariling Sikap sa Pag-aaral Award is conferred to employees who have completed their career-related degree without availing themselves of study leaves, funding, or scholarship assistance from the NEDA.

The Most Punctual Award is given to employees who have the most number of times he/she reported to the office on or before the core hours, and without incurring undertime.

The Perfect Attendance Award is conferred to employees who have perfect attendance.

The NEDA-RAISE aims to encourage greater employee creativity, innovativeness, and efficiency; further enhance employee morale and productivity; and foster awareness and desire to maintain or sustain exemplary performance or superior accomplishments through recognition and rewarding of officials/employees, individually or in groups for their suggestions, innovative ideas, inventions, superior accomplishments and other personal efforts, which may contribute to, among others, the efficiency, economy, and improvements in NEDA operations, or the improved image of civil service, in general, and the NEDA, in particular.
