ProyekTanglaw, the browser-based online project monitoring platform of the NEDA Regional Office (NRO) in MIMAROPA is now officially operational.
With this, NRO MIMAROPA commenced the digital based project status reporting and abandoned the paper-based and excel/pdf Regional Project Monitoring and Evaluation System (RPMES) submission of agencies, state, universities and colleges, and local government units. All reports are now being fully submitted by agencies through ProyekTanglaw.
ProyekTanglaw was first used to generate forms 5 and 6 of the RPMES Fourth Quarter Calendar Year (CY) 2020 Report on February 10.
A total of 19 implementing agencies have used the system to report the status of 414 projects implemented during the 4th quarter of CY 2020. 212 projects or 51.21 percent were reportedly completed, while 23 projects or 5.56 percent were ahead of schedule.
The ProyekTanglaw system development began on July 26, 2020 with a kick-off meeting with NEDA’s Information and Communications Technology Staff – Information System Development Division (ISDD). Online system testing began during the first Users’ Training on November 10-11, 2020. It was officially launched during the 73rd MIMAROPA Regional Development Council (RDC) Full Council Meeting on December 4, 2020.
RPMES focal persons were given their official usernames and passwords during the ProyekTanglaw Virtual Users’ Training on January 18-19, 2021. It also marked the date when implementing agencies enroll actual projects implemented during the fourth quarter of CY 2020. The ProyekTanglaw M&E Dashboard has been embedded in the NRO/RDC MIMAROPA website in compliance with the requirement of Balik Probinsiya Bagong Pag-asa Program.
