BSP awards program partners in MIMAROPA

NEDA MIMAROPA OIC-Regional Director Susan A. Sumbeling and Palawan Governor Jose Ch. Alvarez receive their respective awards during the 2017 Awards Ceremony and Appreciation Lunch of BSP Region 4 Stakeholders

National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) MIMAROPA was cited as 2017 Outstanding Partner for Report on Regional Economic Developments in the Philippines by the Bangko Central ng Pilipinas (BSP) during the awards ceremony and appreciation lunch for BSP stakeholders held on August 4, 2017 at Greenfield City, Sta. Rosa, Laguna. In the same event, NEDA MIMAROPA was also conferred as Gold Hall of Fame Awardee for being an outstanding partner for report on regional economic developments in the Philippines for three consecutive years.

Present were Monetary Board Member Felipe M. Medalla who led the awarding ceremony, and BSP stakeholders in CALABARZON and MIMAROPA.

With the theme “Transforming Shared Visions into Dynamic Partnership”, the BSP continues its annual tradition of recognizing its partners that support its statistical undertakings, information needs and advocacy programs to carry out its ultimate goal of safeguarding price stability and promoting a healthy financial system in the country.

Citations were also conferred to other program partners in MIMAROPA namely, the province of Palawan as outstanding regional partner for implementing BSP advocacy on the conduct of public information campaigns and the Department of Education – Occidental Mindoro as outstanding regional partner in clean note policy program.
