MIMAROPA is second fastest growing region in 2018

MIMAROPA’s economy accelerated to an 8.6 percent growth, making it the second fastest growing region in 2018. This was the highest growth rate achieved by the region over the last decade. Among the 17 region of the country, MIMAROPA currently ranks second, together with Davao and next to Bicol, in terms of growth rate. The MIMAROPA Regional Development Council (RDC) hosted the 10th RDC-Private Sector Representatives (PSRs) National Convention last April 09-12 at Citystate Asturias Hotel Palawan in Puerto Princesa City. MIMAROPA RPMT monitors ongoing projects in Romblon

The MIMAROPA Regional Project Monitoring Team (RPMT) conducted field monitoring in Romblon on March 10-15. The monitoring team is composed of representatives from the Presidential Management Office-Office for Regional Concerns (PMS-ORC), the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), private sector representative (PSR), National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) and members of the provincial project monitoring committee of Romblon. NEDA MIMAROPA conducts project development training for City Government of Calapan

The NEDA Regional Office (NRO) in  MIMAROPA through the Project Development Assistance Team (PDAT) conducted a training on project development for 30  technical staff of the City Government of Calapan on March 26 to 28 at Calapan City Negosyo Center.
